💾 How do I back up my data?
Our apps support CloudKit synchronization, which automatically backs up your data to iCloud. Your safety records, incident reports, and professional data are securely stored and synced across your Apple devices. You can also export data from within the app (format varies by app) for additional backup.
🔄 How do I sync data between devices?
Enable CloudKit synchronization in the app settings to automatically sync your data across all your Apple devices. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID on all devices. Data syncs automatically when you're online.
💳 How do I use a discount code or veteran discount?
Veteran and military discounts are available for all of our apps. When purchasing on the App Store, you'll see the discounted pricing. Discounts are honored on an honor-system basis - simply verify your status when prompted. Special discount codes are provided during promotions.
📸 How do I share photos and data with team members?
For apps with team collaboration features (LabAegis in future versions), you can invite team members and set role-based permissions. For current versions, you can export reports and share them via email or other methods. Check your specific app's settings for sharing options.
🌍 Is the app available offline?
Yes! All our apps are designed to work offline. You can continue working without an internet connection, and changes will sync automatically when you're back online. Location-based features (GPS tagging) may require internet for weather data, but core functionality works offline.
🔐 Is my data secure and private?
Yes. Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. CloudKit data is encrypted on Apple's servers. We do not share your personal safety data with third parties. Please see our complete Privacy Policy for details about data handling, security measures, and your privacy rights.
🔄 How do I export my data?
Most of our apps support exporting data to PDF, CSV, or other formats. Look for the "Export" or "Share Report" feature in the app menu. This allows you to share data with colleagues, include in compliance audits, or maintain offline copies.
📱 What iOS versions are supported?
Check the App Store product page for your specific app. Most apps require iOS 16 or later. We recommend keeping your iOS device updated to the latest version for security, performance, and feature compatibility.
🆘 How do I reset my password or recover my account?
Use the "Forgot Password" option on the login screen. Enter your email address and follow the instructions to reset your password. If you're unable to reset your password, contact support@fouledanchorsafety.com with your account details.

Technical Support

Crash Reports & Errors

If the app crashes or you encounter errors:

  1. Note the exact steps that caused the issue
  2. Note any error messages displayed
  3. Check that you're using the latest version of the app
  4. Try restarting your device
  5. If the problem persists, contact support with details

Sync Issues

If CloudKit sync isn't working:

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Verify you're signed into iCloud on your device
  3. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud and check CloudKit is enabled
  4. Disable and re-enable CloudKit sync in the app settings
  5. Restart the app and your device

Performance Issues

If the app runs slowly:

  1. Close background apps
  2. Clear app cache (Settings > [App] > App Cache)
  3. Restart your device
  4. Update to the latest app version
  5. Free up device storage space

Permissions Issues

If features requiring permissions don't work:

  1. Go to Settings > [App Name]
  2. Enable required permissions (Camera, Photos, Location, etc.)
  3. Restart the app
  4. Try the feature again

Billing & Subscriptions

Subscription Management

To manage your subscriptions, refunds, or billing issues:

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone/iPad
  2. Tap your profile icon in the top right
  3. Tap "Subscriptions"
  4. Select the app subscription to manage
  5. You can change, renew, or cancel your subscription

Refund Requests

Refund requests are handled by Apple through the App Store. All refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy. Contact Apple directly through the App Store for refund requests.

Veteran & Military Discounts

Veteran and military discounts are automatically applied at checkout. No special code or verification is required beyond your attestation of military service (honor-system). Discounts apply to annual subscriptions and are calculated at purchase time.
