• Venue Tracking: Maintain your venue and booker database in Gigsmith
• Cloud Sync: If enabled, sync your data across devices using Apple iCloud
• Exports: Generate reports, share setlists, or export performance data as you choose

• Anonymous usage analytics to improve features
• Crash reports to identify and fix bugs
• Performance monitoring for app reliability

3. Your Creative Content is Protected

3.1 Local Storage

By default, all your data stays on your device:

• Jokes and setlists
• Audio recordings of sets
• Performance analytics and laugh data
• Venue and booker information

3.2 Cloud Storage (Optional)

If you enable iCloud sync:

• Data is encrypted and stored in YOUR personal iCloud account
• We do NOT have access to your iCloud data
• Syncs across your devices with the same Apple ID
• You can disable sync anytime in settings

3.3 Machine Learning (On-Device)

Jokesmith's laugh detection uses machine learning, but:

• All audio processing happens ON YOUR DEVICE
• Recordings are never sent to our servers or cloud services
• ML models run locally using Apple's Core ML framework
• Only YOU can access your performance recordings

• iCloud: Optional cloud sync (governed by Apple's Privacy Policy)

6.2 Microphone Access

Jokesmith requires microphone access for set recording and laugh detection:

• Grant or deny permission in iOS Settings
• Recordings stored locally on your device
• Delete recordings anytime from the app
• No recordings are uploaded without your explicit action

• Secure transmission (TLS/SSL) for any cloud sync

• Apple's security infrastructure for iCloud data

8. Children's Privacy

Our apps are designed for professional and aspiring comedians. While suitable for users of all ages, we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 without parental consent.
