Privacy Policy — Flavor Trek

            The short version: Flavor Trek apps collect nothing. No accounts, no servers, no tracking, no analytics, no advertising. Your location data is used on-device only and never leaves your phone.
        

Who We Are

Flavor Trek is a DBA (doing business as) of Fouled Anchor Safety LLC, a veteran-owned small business based in the United States. This privacy policy applies to all Flavor Trek mobile applications: BBQ Wayfinder, Sandwich Wayfinder, and Pizza Wayfinder.

Information We Do Not Collect

Flavor Trek apps do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

Personal identity information (name, email, address, phone)
Account credentials or user profiles
Device identifiers, advertising IDs, or fingerprints
Location history or location logs sent to any server
Usage analytics, telemetry, or behavioral data
Crash reports sent to third-party services
Purchase history beyond your device's local StoreKit records

Location Data

Flavor Trek apps use your device's GPS to match your current coordinates against locally bundled GeoJSON polygon data. This processing happens entirely on your device. Your location is not transmitted to any server operated by Fouled Anchor Safety LLC or any third party. You may revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services; territory detection will be unavailable without location access.

Local Data Storage

Check-ins, saved places, and app preferences are stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data does not leave your device except via your own iCloud backup (managed entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy). We have no access to your iCloud backups.

In-App Purchases

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit 2. We receive only a non-identifying transaction receipt confirmation. We do not receive your payment method, billing address, or Apple ID email address.

Apple Maps / Search

The Big Five Nearby feature uses Apple Maps search APIs. When you perform a nearby search, your location is sent to Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Flavor Trek does not receive or store the results of these searches.

Third-Party SDKs and Analytics

Flavor Trek apps contain no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, crash-reporting services, or social media tracking pixels. The only third-party code integrated is Apple's own frameworks (MapKit, CoreLocation, StoreKit, SwiftData).

Children's Privacy

Flavor Trek apps are not directed at children under 13 and do not knowingly collect any data from children. The apps contain no features that collect personal information.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the effective date. Continued use of the apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
