BBQ Wayfinder — Fouled Anchor Safety LLC

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BBQ Wayfinder mobile application ("App") developed by Fouled Anchor Safety LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
BBQ Wayfinder is a regional BBQ discovery and reference application. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
BBQ Wayfinder Pro is a one-time non-consumable in-app purchase ($2.99 USD) that permanently unlocks additional features including Big Five Nearby, BBQ Passport, Saved BBQ Places, and region card sharing. The Pro unlock is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device signed into the same Apple ID at no additional charge.
Optional tip purchases are consumable in-app purchases. Tips are voluntary, non-refundable through us, and support continued development. All purchases are processed by Apple.
All purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We do not process refunds directly.
Prices are set in USD and may vary by region due to App Store pricing. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time, though existing purchasers will not be charged again for features already unlocked.
All content in BBQ Wayfinder — including the app design, regional BBQ data, almanac text, GeoJSON boundary data, graphics, and the BBQ Wayfinder name and icon — is owned by or licensed to Fouled Anchor Safety LLC. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any App content without written permission.
Regional BBQ boundaries in the App represent our best interpretation of culinary and cultural tradition. They are not official government designations, are not intended for navigation, and may not reflect every local interpretation of BBQ style. Boundary lines are approximate and subject to reasonable disagreement among BBQ scholars and enthusiasts.
We make reasonable efforts to keep regional data accurate but do not guarantee that BBQ style profiles, regional descriptions, or nearby search results are complete, current, or error-free. Restaurant listings come from Apple Maps and are not curated or endorsed by us.
Features such as territory detection and Big Five Nearby require access to your device's location. Location data is used only on-device for these features and is never transmitted to our servers. You grant permission to access location through iOS location permissions. You may revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings, which will disable location-dependent features.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF BUGS OR VIRUSES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FOULED ANCHOR SAFETY LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO RELIANCE ON REGIONAL BBQ DATA, RESTAURANT RECOMMENDATIONS, OR NAVIGATION INFORMATION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Fairfax County, Virginia.
As a user of an iOS app distributed through the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no obligation or liability with respect to the App beyond what Apple provides to all App Store users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
